Aunt Dimity and the Village Witch
Book - 2012
"When Amelia Thistle moves to Finch, her new neighbors welcome her with open arms-and inquiring minds. Among them is Lori Shepherd, who isn't fooled by Amelia's unassuming persona. Amelia is, in fact, a world-famous artist with a rabid and eager-to-stalk fan base. In order to keep peace in Finch, Lori must help Amelia conceal her identity. Amelia, meanwhile, sets about working on the riddle that brought her to town in the first place."--Provided by publisher.

Read this in Alabama! Gave me lots to think about as it touched briefly on subjects close to home. As always, a good read!
17th book in the series of 24 titles thru yr 2019
This was my favorite book in the series. Atherton's writing is so much better in quality than many other cozy mystery authors.
I enjoy her development of the characters throughout the series.
Love this series. All are well written, funny and sad at times. However, sometimes Lori gets way too involved in the situation but it always comes out ok.
The Aunt Dimity series features main character, Lori Shepherd, wife and mother in a small English village. This is the 16th installment of the series. Each one is charming and whimsical. Aunt Dimity is a spirit who communicates with Lori through a special diary. Sounds implausible, but it works really well. Here, the plot involves the search for secret documents that tell the story of a Village witch from the 17th century.
One of the best Aunt Dimity! They keep getting better and better. Can't wait for the next one!
I enjoyed this Aunt Dimity much more than some of the other more recent Aunt Dimity cozy's.
An other Aunt Dimity mystery that takes you back to a calmer time. If only everyone had a ghost to talk to and help solve mysteries.
Good plot. "Cozy" but kinda cool. It grew on me, and I would read more in the series.
