Wonderful read. Both intelligent and entertaining and suspenseful. The rest of the books in this series are also great.

The author manages to put new ideas into "Light vs. Dark" in the series. There are so many deceptions throughout the first book. Both sides are plotting and counter-plotting with their own agenda. There are not a lot of actions but rather a big "chess game". At the end, the final goal is revealed and it is definitely surprising. The best part is the author integrates all the explanations while moving the plot along, with Anton figuring out almost everything but still one step behind.
