I did not find this movie funny. In fact, I stopped watching during a scene that I found objectionable.
This fun, single joke movie is somehow sustained by Stiller's consistently silly performance balanced with expressive Christine Taylor's lovable straight-woman.
Zoolander is an interesting movie. It is a wacky comedy film directed by Ben Stiller, starring himself, Will Ferrell, and Owen Wilson. Despite the comedic lineup, the film itself was not very great. The jokes are sub-par except for a few good ones but the plot-line and story is absurd. Definitely not for everyone, as it may seem like immature humour for kids. Many of the parts that are meant to be funny are just absurd. The movie came out in 2001 and possibly the humour belongs to that era. All in all, Zoolander is a bunch of jokes put together to the point that it’s not really funny anymore. I would rate this movie 2.5/5 stars

The first DVD is a cult classic - not for everyone.
The second DVD is a good coaster for your cold drink on a hot day.
Rarely clever, often silly, but at times dryly humorous.
More enjoyable than I last remembered it being, tho'.
Despite a few funny scenes—a send-up of Kubrick’s 2001 using an old Mac computer was pretty good—and a long line of surprise celebrity cameos from David Bowie to Billy Zane, this is essentially a one-schtick comedy hinging on “stupid male model” jokes whose first few chuckles quickly give way to groans and blank stares as Stiller starts recycling the same punchlines and sight gags over and over again. A Saturday Night Live skit that goes on long after the laughter stops.
Oh, silly Ben. Hard to know how to rate this, 15 years later: it's both hard to watch, and has some prize moments.
Still the greatest haute couture movie of all time! Coco Chanel wished she'd had a movie like this! Givenchy wished he'd known Zoolander! Christian Dior ached to know Zoolander, Donna Karan screamed, Zoolander, if only . . .
This movie is so pointless, but it is hilarious. I will watch it over and over. I'm trying to get my friends to watch it. I loved it. It made me laugh so many times. It was such a stupid movie, but one of the funniest I've seen in a while.
Derek Zoolander is stupid. So is this movie. But by no means, is Zoolander humorless. Zoolander is a very funny movie, if you know what to expect. To enjoy Zoolander, one has to put all their expectations behind them, and see the movie for what it is supposed to be: ridiculous. Guaranteed to make you laugh. I would recommend this movie to anyone looking for a good laugh.
