Obscure and hard-to-find gem. How fortunate we are that our library has a copy in good condition! Is it lesser Mel Brooks, is it uneven and closer to "Men In Tights" than "Spaceballs"? Sure, but it's still a fun, happy romp and a look…

high anxiety is on my top five mel brook's best. number 1 is space balls, 2. young frankenstein 3. high anxiety because leechman and harvey work perfectly off of another. hence why mel got harvey to often work with him

1977's "High Anxiety" has got to be one of lamest and most unfunny parody/spoofs that I've ever seen. Considering that these were, indeed, Alfred Hitchcock's films that were the target of this dumb spoof, I'd say the director Mel Brooks…

This homage to Hitchcock is very funny at times and always likable. One of the best scenes is when Mel Brooks is being pursued by "the birds." A real gem of a film that Hitchcock fans will most probably enjoy.
