Learn how to incorporate queer symbols into your cosplay props. This program encourages participants to add personal touches that reflect their identities, such as rainbows, pride flags, or other meaningful designs, making the cosplay a celebration of self-expression.  

All supplies will be provided for this program.

Monica Paprocki is an award-winning Filipino cosplayer from Chicago and serves as the CEO of GeeksAGogo.com. She has been featured in prestigious publications, including The Chicago Tribune and The New Yorker, among others. Monica was also part of the wardrobe team for Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter during its Chicago show. She actively participates in discussions about diversity in the cosplay and gaming communities, providing tutorials for cosplayers of all skill levels at various events and seminars.

This event is for teens ages 13-19.

Radical Fit is a Chicago Public Library YOUmedia initiative dedicated to teen fashion-making with a special focus on gender identity and equity.
