About Luciana Diaz — Music Producer, Community Leader, and Founder of Panas en Chicago

Luciana Diaz is a music producer, activist, and community leader born in Valencia, Venezuela, and based in Chicago. Her journey began as a radio journalist at Rumbera Network Tucacas, where she discovered her passion for music, communication, and connecting with communities through art and storytelling.

Influenced by a wide spectrum of genres Reggae, Reggaeton, Boom Bap, Hip Hop, Latin House, Salsa, Rap, and Dembow. Luciana has developed a distinctive sound that blends the soul of the Caribbean with the urban energy of Chicago. As founder of Chi Caribbean Productions LLC, she works to fuse sonic and cultural identities while supporting artists who share a spiritual and authentic vision. Her label also gave rise to Los Caribeños Music Studio, a creative hub where producers, musicians, and emerging talent collaborate to create music with purpose. Her discography includes four albums spanning Hip Hop, Lo-Fi, Reggaeton, and experimental electronic music.

Beyond music, Luciana is the founder and president of Panas en Chicago, a nonprofit organization established in 2017 to support Venezuelan and immigrant communities in Illinois. According to reports from City Bureau and other local media, she has led social, cultural, and educational assistance programs serving hundreds of newly arrived families, promoting integration and empowerment through art, education, and faith.

Her community work extends to youth development. She founded The Sanctuary Studio, located inside Olivet United Methodist Church in West Garfield Park, a space of hope where children and teenagers learn music production and creative development through the Cooking Beats program, also implemented in several Chicago public schools. This initiative teaches young people not only how to produce music, but how to discover their voice and purpose amid challenging circumstances.

Luciana Diaz represents the intersection of music, community, and faith. As a CEO, producer, and mentor, she continues to expand her vision: building a network of artists and cultural spaces that inspire social transformation and elevate the power of art as a bridge between worlds.
