This group provides a space to read about and discuss difficult and important issues, as well as connect with related local volunteer groups. The Critical Issue for 2026 is mass incarceration.

For the April meeting, we will be hosting Rev. Jason Lydon, member of the UU Prison Ministry of Illinois and former director of Black and Pink, who will run a “Prison Industrial Complex 101” workshop.
