Superstars Jamie Foxx and Tina Fey provide voices in this wonderfully animated feature about Joe Gardner, a middle school band teacher who gets the chance of a lifetime to play at the best jazz club in town.  But when Joe takes a small misstep on the streets of New York City, he finds himself in The Great Before, a fantastical place where new souls get their personalities, quirks, and interests before coming to Earth.
