Literacy for Littles with UIC: Registration Day

10:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Little Village

Description

Join the University of Illinois at Chicago's Center for Literacy and Miss Taylor from the Little Village branch for Literacy for Littles! A 6 week early literacy course designed to support caregivers and their little ones early in their literacy journey while also preparing the family for attending story time. Each week will touch upon a different literacy topic and/or a story time to put the ideas together! For ages 0 to 4 and their caregivers.

On March 20, caregivers who complete the CASAS test in-person at the Little Village branch will receive a giveaway bag filled with early literacy materials we'll use during the series! The rest of the series will take place virtually via Zoom. This day will be the only day in-person.

Questions? Please contact Taylor at the Little Village Branch.

Series made possible by the UIC Center for Literacy and Chicago Public Library.
