Computer Basics: Microsoft Word 101

1:30 PM – 2:30 PM
Harold Washington Library Center

Description

This is an introductory computer class for people who are brand new to using computers or want to build more confidence in a non-judgmental environment. This class specifically focuses on the computer program Microsoft Word.

In this class, students will learn how to navigate a document with the cursor, highlight content within a document, format text in several different ways, and save documents to specific folders.

We'll be using the computers in the building, so no need to bring anything with you.

Don’t have time to make this class, but interested in learning some more computer basics? Check out some hands-on tutorials through Chicago Digital Learn. No library card necessary!
