Events › Science Stories in the Park with Shedd Aquarium

Join the educators from the Shedd Aquarium and Librarian Ms. Rachel for a morning of science stories! Participants will enjoy hearing stories about parks and changing seasons. Then, Shedd Aquarium will lead participants in hands-on activities to help you build your own science story of McKinley Park. You’ll leave with your own nature observation tool and new ways to help your family connect with McKinley Park. 

We will meet at McKinley Park Library and walk over to McKinley Park Natural Area together. Registration is highly requested.

For kids 5 to 12 and their caregivers.

How to Attend

Register by 12 p.m., Friday, April 24. Chicago Public Library cannot collect personal information online from kids 0 to 13. A parent or guardian’s email address must be used to register. 

Due to space limitations, please include the total number of children and adults as attendees when you register.
