Events › Science Fiction / Fantasy Book Club: Iron Widow

This month the Sulzer Regional Library will be reading Iron Widow by Xiran Zhao.

In a world beseiged by monsters, boys and girls pair up to pilot robots to protect humanity, frequently leading to the girl's death.  Zeitan volunteers for this to get revenge on the pilot that killed her sister.  But when she kills him, it turns out that she is an Iron Widow, a girl who can draw energy from a boy to pilot the ship.  Now that she has some power, she will try to change the system and try to save the girls it sacrifices.
