Crochet for Beginners

5:30 PM – 6:30 PM
Legler Regional

Description

Curious about crochet? Join us at the Legler for an introduction to amigurumi, the art of crocheting small stuffed figures.

In this hands-on program, participants will learn basic crochet stitches, how to work in the round, and simple techniques used to create amigurumi projects. No prior experience is required. All instruction is step-by-step, making this class ideal for first-time crocheters or anyone looking to build a strong foundation.

Come learn a relaxing, creative skill and leave with the confidence to continue crocheting on your own.

Class 1: Participants will learn basic crochet stitches, how to hold a hook, and other foundational skills needed to get started. This session is designed especially for beginners and those with little to no crochet experience.

Class 2: Using the skills learned in the first class, participants will work on creating a simple amigurumi project—a small crocheted chicken.
