Homeschool students and their families are encouraged to present and share what they have been studying and learning. Presentations can be show-and-tell style with an object or poster board, a reading from a paper/book/slideshow or an improvised oral report. The idea is to practice public speaking and communicating to others about what you have been learning.
This is an informal meet-up for both experienced and new homeschooling families. Learn about library resources, how to get a library card, educational databases, library events, how to request library materials and more.
For ages 3 to 13.
How to Attend
Registration is optional. Chicago Public Library cannot collect personal information online from kids 0 to 13. A parent or guardian’s email address must be used to register. As a reminder, school email addresses may block external emails such as those from CPL.
