Join fiber artist Anita Piotrowski for a beginner-friendly workshop where you’ll learn the basics of Art Quilting. Art Quilts utilize traditional quilting techniques while emphasizing a decorative design. By the end of the session, you’ll complete a beautiful mini quilt and gain the confidence to continue stitching!

All supplies will be provided. Registration is required.

Anita Piotrowski is a native Chicagoan of Mexican and Puerto Rican descent, whose work is rooted in a lifetime of creative exploration. Upon retiring in 2023 after 46 years in the insurance industry, Anita transitioned to a full-time art practice. Today, she blends her heritage and self-taught technical skills to create vibrant textile art, embracing a new life chapter with joy and curiosity.

Anita's new exhibit, Boricua in Chicago, is on display at the Humboldt Park Branch through March 31!
