Chess is a game that has been played and studied for well over a thousand years. It challenges our mind to strategize and teaches us to think about the moves we make and anticipate the consequences. The South Chicago branch library will be hosting this series of chess programs for players of all levels. All are welcome to come out and join our community of fellow chess enthusiasts. Light refreshments and some good music will be provided to enhance the gaming.
