Through art, you can create as a way to elevate your voice. There is a long history of art as a tool that has been, and continues to be, used to bring about a vision of a more just world. In this workshop, Ms. Yvette will guide you towards creating an art piece that will help you share what is important to you. You will be able to experiment with hand embroidery and with acrylic paints. Supplies will be provided.

For teens ages 13 to 18.

A traves del arte, puedes crear para elevar tu voz. Hay una larga historia de como el arte ha sido y continúa siendo una herramienta para poder rendir una vision de un mundo mas justo. En este taller, la Sra. Yvette te güira a crear una obra de arte que te ayudara a compartir lo que es importante para ti. Podrás realizar tu arte usando técnicas de bordado a mano y con pinturas de acrílico.
