Description

A book club for kids and young adults interested in science. We're reading Isaac the Alchemist by Mary Losure. Learn about the life of "a young genius living in a time before science as we know it existed." You can read any part of the book to participate. A simple demonstration inspired by the book will be conducted by library staff and our resident scientist-in-training.

For ages 8 and older. Books available for check out at the Logan Square Branch. Additional physical and digital copies of the book are available to be placed on hold.

How to Attend
Registration highly encouraged. Chicago Public Library cannot collect personal information online from kids 0 to 13. A parent or guardian’s email address must be used to register. As a reminder, school email addresses may block external emails such as those from CPL.
