Compost 101

3:00 PM – 3:45 PM
Lincoln Belmont

Description

Did you make a New Year’s resolution to be more eco-conscious? Even if you didn't it's a great time to learn how to use the compost bins in many library parking lots and other spots throughout the city! The Burley School Compost Ambassadors will present how composting can make a big impact using experience from their in-school program and explain how easy it is to incorporate into your waste routine.

All attendees (one per family) will be entered into a prize drawing for one of several kitchen scrap collection containers.

Presented with support from Chicago Conservation Corps.
