Events › STEAM: Candy DNA

Join Jorge from Northwestern for a hands-on STEAM activity! Students will build a candy model of the DNA double helix using licorice, marshmallows and toothpicks. 

This program is presented by Jorge Heneche of the Office of Health Equity with Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine.

For kids 6 to 13.

How to Attend
Register by Monday, January 12 at 10 a.m. Chicago Public Library cannot collect personal information online from kids 0 to 13. A parent or guardian’s email address must be used to register. As a reminder, school email addresses may block external emails such as those from CPL.
