Garfield Ridge

Description

The Artist's Studio at the Library is proud to present the next series from the Art Institute of Chicago. Children and their parents create a fabric and paper patchwork piece inspired by quilts from the Art Institute of Chicago to honor someone or something in their lives that is important to them. The library provides everything you need including several pattern grids to choose from, colored paper strips, beautiful fabric squares, origami squares, glue and colored masking tape. Families are welcome to attend multiple sessions and are encouraged to leave their project at the library to be put on display. When registering your family, enter number 1.

For kids 6 and up and their families.
