Hosted by Kate In and Sally Beauvais, sound artists who are working on a DCASE-funded storytelling project related to farmers almanacs and the exploration of how humans interact with each other and the natural world. They are looking to interview people from the Edgewater community on the topic of the seasons (spring, summer, fall, winter). Kate and Sally will set up audio recorders and guide the group through a series of prompts as participants share their stories about the seasons.
They’ll ask questions like: How do you express the season in your home? Your rituals? Your clothes? Do you have cherished memories of any particular season? How do you know that it’s spring/summer/winter/fall? Participants can stay the whole time or just drop in.
