Sound Meditation

6:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Harold Washington Library Center

Description

Join facilitator Jay Taylor and Wellness4Every1 for an experience in meditation and sound. Lie down, get comfortable, and experience the powerful frequencies of the crystal singing bowls. As the sound evolves, practice the art of acceptance and become aware of sensations, thoughts, emotions, and memories that arise and give way to a deep state of relaxation. No skills, abilities, or beliefs are required to participate and benefit from the experience.

Registration is required-online or by phone.

Please bring a yoga mat, blanket, pillow, eye mask; chairs are also available. Doors open at 5:30pm. Meditation begins promptly at 6:00pm and last for one hour.
