Events › Winter Story Time with FOX 32 Meteorologist Mark Strehl

Join us for a cozy winter-themed story time with special guest, FOX 32 Chicago’s meteorologist Mark Strehl! This program will be filmed as part of FOX 32’s 2025 Holiday Special. 

Mark will be reading some of CPL’s favorite classic winter children’s books at the Thomas Hughes Children’s Library in Harold Washington Library Center. Story time will include rhymes and movement songs with a special snow craft after. Plus, kids will be able to share why they love the library and get featured in the FOX 32 Holiday Special! 

Registration for this event is encouraged. If you want to be part of the filming, please register and select “Yes” on question #2 and complete the registration prompts. If you wish to opt out, select “No” on question #2. For those who opt out, you will be given a sticker the day of the event at the front desk that you must visibly wear so that the production crew knows not to include you in the final product.
