This month the Sulzer Regional Library will be reading She Who Became the Sun by Shelley Parker-Chan.

1345 China is under Mongol rule.  When the Zhu family's eighth son is given a destiny of greatness, everyone is confused.  But when he dies in a bandit attack, his clever and capable sister takes his identity and becomes a monk.  When her sanctuary is destroyed for supporting the uprising against the Mogols, she decides to claim her dead brother's greatness.
