Bring your ideas to life with collage!  Explore how to layer magazine clippings, photos, and your own drawings to build unique mixed-media artwork. We’ll experiment with image transfers on canvas and small wood panels, then add fun textures with paints and markers.  You’ll discover new ways to mix images and take home your own one-of-a-kind artwork.

All supplies will be provided for this program. 

Samira Henninge is a Chicago-based visual artist whose work explores memory, storytelling, and transformation through textiles, printmaking, and sculpture. She is passionate about sharing approachable, hands-on art techniques and enjoys creating welcoming spaces where young people can experiment, play, and discover their own creative voices.
