Chapter Book Round Up for Educators

Description

This event is geared toward library staff and youth educators. Are you an educator:

  • interested in finding new books that highlight diverse characters and authors?
  • looking for some new fiction and informational titles to add to your classroom library?

This event is for you! Join Chicago Public Library for a virtual professional development session where librarians will share the latest and most noteworthy books for elementary age kids in a variety of categories.

Books featured will be most appropriate for people who work with children between ages 8 to 13 but all are welcome to attend. 

Feel free to join and just listen, no participation required. Everyone who registers will receive a book list and a link to the recording following the event.

How to Attend
This event takes place on Zoom. Register by 4 p.m. Thursday, December 4. Only one registration per household is needed. You’ll receive an email with a link to the secure Zoom meeting about 24 hours before the meeting. Automatic transcription is included in all CPL events using Zoom.
