Join the Humboldt Park Branch for an Intro to Coding Workshop! 

Your instructor, Amanda Hinchman-Dominguez, has several of experience in engineering, is a Kotlin GDE, an international technical speaker, and book author, and has been helping thousands of engineers of all skill levels.

  • Are you a freelancer or entrepreneur?
  • A creative or a nonprofit organization looking to showcase your work?
  • Instead of spending thousands to hire someone to build your site, why not learn to build it yourself?
  • New to programming?

This workshop is the perfect opportunity to kickstart your tech career. You’ll leave with a live code portfolio to show recruiters that you have hands-on experience coding.

Jumpstart your coding into the world of coding! By the end of this class, attendees will:

  1. Understand how HTML and CSS work together.
  2. Build a basic webpage from scratch.
  3. Publish webpage on Github to start your online portfolio
  4. Leave with confidence to continue their coding journey.

Whether you're looking to get your foot in the door in tech, or want to build a website of your own, this class is for you. 

Registration is required! Participants are welcome to bring their own laptop, or borrow one of ours for the workshop.
