Menopause Discussion with Chicago Women's Health Center

6:00 PM – 7:30 PM

Description

During this workshop led by Scout Bratt from the Chicago Women's Health Center, we'll focus on the impact of menopause on bodies, minds, and relationships. We'll be reviewing research throughout history and challenging misinformation. In addition to considering treatment options, we'll consider practices for both self-care and community care. This workshop will be rooted in a feminist approach to menopause.

Scout Bratt (they/them) is the Outreach & Education Director of Chicago Women's Health Center. They facilitate queer-inclusive, gender-expansive sexual health education for 4th-12th graders, college-aged students, and adults throughout the city of Chicago.

Please email 1-2 questions to adultservices@chipublib.org by October 16th for them to be considered during the presentation. Similar questions will be combined, and we cannot guarantee that all questions will be answered.
