Looking for a morning of book conversation? Join us for this month's selection, The Glassmaker by Tracy Chevalier. This historical novel mixes in magical realism as it follows the Venetian glass blowing industry from its beginning to the current day. Orsola Rosso manages the small workshop on Murano after her father dies and brother disappears. Each century she appears in the story, aging slowly, “The City of Water runs by its own clock.”
Copies of the book will be available each month at the Circulation Desk.
