Description

Want to feel more confident with reading and writing? In partnership with Chicago Public Library, UIC's Center for Literacy is offering free classes to focus on practical literacy skills for everyday life, work, and learning in a friendly, supportive setting. With hands-on projects and one-on-one support, you’ll build useful skills and take real steps toward your goals. This class might be right for you if want to…

  • Feel more confident reading and writing in daily life
  • Support your child with reading, writing, or school projects
  • Strengthen your skills as you prepare for the GED
  • Build your English language skills

Come from 4-5 p.m. for individual support.

Come from 5-6 p.m. for collaborative group learning.
