Join us for a special Poetry Reading and Open Mic in honor of Indigenous People’s Day at the National Museum of Puerto Rican Arts & Culture. Poet Eduardo Arocho will emcee the event, and will be joined by special guest poet, Mark Turcotte, the newly appointed Illinois Poet Laurate and the first Native American Poet Laureate of Illinois, as well as featured poets Luis Tubens, Mayda Del Valle and Yolanda Nieves. All are welcome to join for the Open Mic and share their poetry
