Write at CPL: Writing Styles: An Introduction to Possibilities

6:00 PM – 7:30 PM
Lozano

Description

Join other aspiring authors this fall for Write at CPL, a series of workshops presented by our partners at Story Studio. This workshop will focus on Writing Styles: An Introduction to Possibilities and is led by Vince Francone.

In this workshop, we will look at different styles, rhetorical devices, and flourishes the best writers use to tell their tales. Students will examine their own writing default settings and practice different approaches to making sentences. The end result will be a deeper awareness of our defaults and ideas for breaking out of writing ruts as well as right draft from some in-class writing exercise.

Due to limited space, registration is required.
