
David Ellis appears to discuss his new book, The Best Lies, in conversation with Scott Turow.
David Ellis is a judge and a #1 New York Times bestselling, Edgar Award-winning author of eleven novels of crime fiction, as well as eleven books co-authored with James Patterson. His novels have been translated into more than ten languages worldwide. He has served as a justice of the Illinois Appellate Court since 2014. Ellis lives outside Chicago with his wife and three children.

David will be in conversation with fellow writer Scott Turow. Scott Turow, a writer and former practicing lawyer, is the author of thirteen bestselling works of fiction, including Presumed Innocent and most recently, Presumed Guilty. Mr. Turow has also published two nonfiction books, including One L, about his experience as a law student. His books have been translated into more than forty languages, sold more than thirty million copies worldwide, and have been adapted into movies and television projects. He has frequently contributed essays and op-ed pieces to publications such as the New York Times, Washington Post, Vanity Fair, the New Yorker, and the Atlantic.
How to Attend:
Doors to the Auditorium open at 5:30 p.m., and seating is first come, first served (350 capacity). Books are available for purchase and the author will autograph books at the conclusion of the program.
