Zen Coloring for Adults

11:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Harold Washington Library Center

Description

Unwind for one hour through the art of Zen Coloring. Zen is a Buddhist tradition that originates from China, and today is practiced in many East Asian cultures and modern meditation practices. The word as we know it originates from Chinese, Japanese, and Sanskrit and can mean both meditation and quietude. Bring these two mindsets into your life through an easy and fun practice using an array of colors and uplifting designs. Materials will be provided. Participants are encouraged to bring their own supplies should they choose.
