4:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Uptown

Description

Gardening is a fun STEAM activity for kids! Join Ms. My in our "Not-So-Secret" Garden to grow a Spring edible garden and vibrant flowers in containers. Plants, seeds, tools, and materials are provided, but feel free to bring your own.

Families create a recycled hanging garden, explore plant science through hands-on experiments and care for our shared plants by watering, weeding and harvesting. Kids can even take home their own plant to keep the fun growing!

Open to all ages with caregivers.

This program is supported by ScienceConnections grant funding through the Chicago Public Library Foundation.
