Discover fresh games, meet new friends, and cosplay as your favorite character at the 4th annual Gamer's Universe gaming convention.

Gamer's Universe is an event for all ages and flavors of gamers and is created by the Chicago Teen Gamer’s Guild (CTGG), a group of Chicago teens creating inclusive gaming experiences across the city.

What to expect:

  • Mario Kart 8 and Tekken 8 tournament (with prizes for the winners)
  • Splatoon 3 tournament hosted by SquidWest
  • Cosplay competition (with prizes for the winners)
  • Artist Alley featuring local Chicago artists
  • The debut of six original experiential games created by the CTGG
  • Board game lounge highlighting the Chicago tabletop community
  • Tabletop role-playing games throughout the day hosted by Rough Magic
  • Kid-friendly gaming activities in Thomas Hughes Children’s Library
  • Trivia, video games, making activities and more will be available throughout the day
  • Hands-on workshops, panels, and more!
