Description

If you:

  • Are almost 65 years old and want to learn how Medicare works
  • Have been on Medicare for a while, but you don't know much about your options
  • Are helping your senior parents with Medicare

Join Medicare Teacher and Norwood Park resident Nancy De Lira for a presentation on Medicare.

After the presentation you will be able to:

  • Understand the difference between Medicare Parts and Plans
  • Compare Medicare Advantage and Medicare Supplements
  • Explain the basics of Part D (Prescription Drug Coverage)
  • Understand how the Inflation Reduction Act will affect Medicare plans starting in 2023
  • Understand open enrollment
