Join Mayor Brandon Johnson and Chicago Public Library for the first-ever Summer at CPL Block Party! You will enjoy food, giveaways, live performances, special guests and sign up for Summer at CPL. This event will kick off our exciting season of fun, learning and exploration. CPL's summer programming offers vibrant activities designed to ignite imaginations, foster creativity and promote a love for reading. Whether you're a lifelong learner, a curious explorer or simply looking for summer fun, Chicago Public Library has something for you!

For families of all ages! One registration per family. 

Need a ride to the event? CPL will have buses at Woodson Regional, Legler Regional and Back of the Yards Branch. Reserve your spots by clicking here! Note: If you register for the bus ride, you do not need to register on this event page.
