A Poetic Kwanzaa with Oba William King

Description

Join us for a fun and interactive “Poetic Kwanzaa” experience including stories, folk tales, poetry, spoken word, drumming, dance, and cultural songs. Through storytelling Oba William King shares the definitions of the seven principles of Kwanzaa, discusses and demonstrates the language of Kiswahili, utilizing "Call & Response" as the audience engages in sharing the pleasantries of the language and counting the numbers.

How to Attend
This event takes place in person. Masks are strongly encouraged in all CPL locations.
