Wycinanki: The Art of Polish Paper Cutouts

4:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Edgebrook

Description

Polish cutouts (wycinanki) are the result of cutting, clipping, punching, tearing and carving of paper into sometimes abstract and at other times recognizable forms. Polish American, Grace Bazylewski has been a teacher and practitioner of this intricate folk-art form for over thirty-five years. Participants will create their own decorative, colorful wycinanki designs to take home!
