From Here To There: Milwaukee Avenue’s Culture (Abridged)

6:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Intuit: The Center for Intuitive and Outsider Art

Description

Many former Native American trails continue to be vibrant pathways in the 21st century. Despite radical changes in the past several decades, Milwaukee Avenue from Chicago Avenue to North Avenue retains this vital essence that has distinguished this centuries old pathway. On this walking tour led by author and urbanologist Max Grinnell, visitors will get to learn about the distinguishing features of this well trod landscape, including the Intuit: The Center for Intuitive and Outsider Art, the Chopin Theater, and several other lesser-known places along Milwaukee Avenue.

How to Attend
