Events › Tinkering Time: Chess Club

The Chicago Chess Foundation is at the library to teach children in grades K to 3 how to play chess! All levels are welcome. 

Please Note: Starting in August we are offering 2 opportunities to attend chess club to meet community demand. Registration is limited to 1 per month to ensure all who are interested are able to attend. 

How to Attend
This event takes place in person. Masks are strongly encouraged in all CPL locations. Register by the start of the event. Chicago Public Library cannot collect personal information online from kids 0 to 13. A parent or guardian’s email address must be used to register. As a reminder, school email addresses may block external emails such as those from CPL.
