Adjustment of Status 101: Getting a Green Card

Description

Maria del Carmen Rodriguez, Community Relations Specialist, USCIS Chicago District 34, External Affair, will conduct a virtual PowerPoint presentation, “Adjustment of Status: Getting a Green Card.”

Officer Rodriguez will discuss the eligibility requirements and qualifications for obtaining a green card or lawful permanent residence (LPR) status. The presentation includes a description of non—immigrant and immigrant visa categories and family and employment-based forms of LPR adjustments.

There will be an opportunity to ask questions at the end of the presentation.

How to Attend
This event takes place on Zoom. Register at least 24 hours before the event. Only one registration per household is needed. You’ll receive an email link to the secure Zoom meeting about 24 hours before the meeting. Automatic transcription is included in all CPL events using Zoom.
