Discover fresh games, meet new friends and cosplay as your favorite character at the 2nd annual Gamers Universe gaming convention.

Gamers Universe is an event for all ages and flavors of gamers and is created by the Chicago Teen Gamer’s Guild (CTGG), a group of Chicago teens who are creating inclusive gaming experiences across the city.

What to expect:

  • Mario Kart 8 Tournament (with prizes for the winners)
  • Cosplay competition (with prizes for the winners)
  • The debut of original games created by the CTGG
  • Board game lounge highlighting the Chicago tabletop community
  • Video game showcase featuring local developers
  • Kid friendly gaming activities in Thomas Hughes Children’s Library
  • Souvenir takeaways designed by the CTGG
  • Hands-on workshops, panels and more!
