The motto of the Avalon Spanish Study Group is, “We teach each other.”
We welcome people who are at the basic beginner and advanced beginner level in learning the Spanish language. We teach each other grammar and pronunciation. We also learn how to read, write, listen, and speak Spanish. We all work from one book; however, you can start in the book at the level you are comfortable with.
We meet for two hours. The first hour is used for advanced beginner learning and the second hour is used to help the basic beginner Spanish learner.
For people who are at the advanced beginner level, sometimes we have a native Spanish speaker talk to us and answer questions that we have about the language.
