Black History Month Crafts

Description

Celebrate Black History Month with a story and some crafts! Create a quilt block for our branch's freedom quilt that will be on display for the entire month of February. Also, create an Alma Thomas-inspired heart mosaic!

For kids ages 6 and up.

Celebra el Mes de la Historia Negra con cuentos y manualidades. Ayuda a crear un edredón de libertad que estará en exhibición durante todo el mes de febrero. También, inspírate en el trabajo de la pintora Alma Thomas para crear un mosaico usando un corazón.

Para niños de 6 en adelante.

How to Attend
This event takes place in person. Masks are strongly encouraged in all CPL locations. Register by 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 1. Chicago Public Library cannot collect personal information online from kids 0 to 13. A parent or guardian’s email address must be used to register. As a reminder, school email addresses may block external emails such as those from CPL.
