Join us for an afternoon with Melody Boykin, Founder of Black Fashion Week. Boykin will introduce the history and meaning behind African head wraps and their significance in preserving beauty/adornment in today's African American Culture. After the lecture, participants can watch and learn how to create several African Head Wrap Styles.

This project is partially supported by a grant from the City of Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events (DCASE) and presented as part of the Culture In My Neighborhood initiative. #CultureInMyNeighborhood
