Chicago’s Polish Triangle Walking Tour with Chicago Detours

Explore the stories of culture, history, religion, daily life, food, and community of Chicago's first Polish neighborhood on this custom designed in-person tour. Details:

  • One-hour-long in-person walking tour with narration by professional tour guides.
  • Explore the Holy Trinity Polish Church and its dazzling interiors.
  • Visit Noble Square and Wicker Park neighborhoods, including the "Polish Triangle."
  • Hear stories behind the Polish National Alliance, the first Polish immigration wave to Chicago, the "competition" of two parishes, and everyday life for Polish immigrants to the city.
  • Tour ends at the historic Podhlanka Restaurant, where guests can opt to get classic Polish food like pierogis, soup, and golabki.
  • Tour starts at a location where guests can park at no charge.
