Bring Your Characters To Life: Illustration Workshop

1:00 PM – 2:30 PM
Chinatown

Description

If you’re inspired by Maus to create your own graphic story, join this workshop and learn how to bring your characters to life with the fundamentals of character design! This 90 minute drawing workshop will cover basic anatomy, dynamic poses, and conveying story in the design of a character. Students will create their own unique characters based on a set of randomized prompts. This workshop is taught by Matthew Sargent, an illustrator with over 10 years experience working in advertising, comics, and tabletop gaming. Some drawing experience recommended, but beginners welcome.
